This all smells very much like a viral campaign to get the aesthetically sensitive[…]to get Ikea back on their brand radar.
I was thinking this this as well… this could be some sort of orchestrated “new Coke” kind of exercise, where eventually IKEA caves in so we can all feel warm and fuzzy that IKEA is the kind of company that listens to the people.
However, in my case, they’ll still be “those dimwits who almost switched to Verdana.” I can’t imagine others won’t feel the same way.
