It’s been what feels like a bazillion years since I touched the Gray Lady style for NetNewsWire — mostly because I stopped reading RSS feeds for a stretch — but now that I’ve started using the app again, I noticed some immediate improvements (and yes, bug fixes) for the NNW Style that I wanted to get out there ASAP.
These include:
- AdSubtract.css for (most) ad blocking
- jDefault for automatic image resizing
- No more subjects/tags running underneath the feed icon
- Removal of the red drop-cap (the Times doesn’t do that shit anymore, yo.)
- Other quick fixes to update it to the Times look-and-feel
Actually, that might be all the fixes that went in. In any case, you know the drill: download, unzip, double-click, install, enjoy!
